Incompleta de Paula Arcila

Paula Arcila llega a Pompano Beach con su nueva obra Incompleta. A través de cuatro personajes interpretados por Paula Arcila, esta obra nos mete de cabeza en el consultorio de una psicóloga. Allí se cruzan mujeres de distintas edades, historias y decisiones, unidas por una misma trampa: la sensación de sentirse insuficientes. 

INCOMPLETA explora, desde el humor, la ironía y una honestidad brutal, esos temas que la sociedad todavía prefiere esquivar: la maternidad bajo la lupa, la decisión de no ser madre, la menstruación, la menopausia, la presión social y la eterna búsqueda de validación. Más que una obra, esta es la conversación incómoda, necesaria y profundamente humana que urgía tener. Un espejo colectivo donde el público se ríe de lo que antes le generaba culpa o vergüenza.

Paula Arcila comes to Pompano Beach with her new play, Incompleta. Through four characters portrayed by Paula Arcila, the play takes us inside a psychologist’s office, where women of different ages, backgrounds, and life choices cross paths, all connected by the same struggle: the feeling of never being enough.

INCOMPLETA explores, through humor, irony, and raw honesty, the topics society still prefers to avoid: the scrutiny surrounding motherhood, the choice not to become a mother, menstruation, menopause, social pressure, and the endless search for validation. More than a play, this is the uncomfortable, necessary, and deeply human conversation we urgently need to have. A collective mirror where audiences can laugh at the very things that once made them feel guilty or ashamed.
